B11 Candelabra Bulb - E12 Base
This is one of the most common bulb types and should fit most of the fixtures in your home. A19 refers to the shape and the diameter in 1/8th inches (ex: 19 x 1/8th inch = 2 3/8 inch). E26 refers to the edison style screw base, with a diameter of 26 mm. This is the standard “medium” base in North America. Any other size base (ex: “E27”) was probably not originally designed for North America and should be avoided.
B11 Candelabra Bulb - E12 Base
This is also a very common bulb type but is used more often in chandeliers, wall sconces and decorative accent lighting (hence the candelabra name). B11 refers to the shape and the diameter in 1/8th inches (ex: 11 x 1/8th inch = 1 1/4 inch). This size bulb is primarily available in two styles flame tip/bent tip (which are the same and shown here) or blunt tip/bullet tip which is rounded off and symetrical.
E12 refers to the edison style screw base, with a diameter of 12 mm. This is the standard “small” base in North America.
E12 to E26 base adapters are available for our candelabras. Also standard candelabras can be purchased with e26 bases.
BR30 Canlight/Downlight/Recessed Lighting - E26 Base
Many kitchens, living rooms and dining rooms use these bulbs. BR 30 (Bulged Reflector – 30 x 1/8th inch or about 4 inches) is made to cast light in primarily one direction. This makes them ideal for rooms in which your focus is on a counter top, table or book.
Also an E26 (Edison – 26 mm) base these bulbs can be installed in most standard fixtures but only cast light in one direction.
